The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 2.9% in the three months from September to November, unchanged from the August to October period, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The underemployment rate also remained at 1%.
Total employment decreased by around 4,700 to 3,708,700, while the labour force dropped by around 8,100 to 3,821,100.
The number of unemployed people decreased by around 3,400 to 112,400. The number of underemployed people was 36,600, about the same as the August to October figure.
